As SBBC celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Small Business BC Awards, the state’s largest entrepreneurial awards competition, BC small business owners are invited to compete in a $40,000 prize pool.

Each year, the Small Business BC Awards are an opportunity to highlight small businesses that are making a positive impact in our state. To recognize and support hard work, British Columbians are encouraged to nominate their own business or suggest a local business that has had a strong impact on the community.
Each winner will receive a cash prize of $10,000, a top business title, and one year of free advisory support from SBBC.
The 20th Anniversary of the Small Business BC Awards features four award categories. Businesses are eligible to participate in two categories: the Premier’s People’s Choice Award and one of the three business pitch categories (Business Impact, E-Commerce, Youth). The Premier’s People’s Choice Awards are determined by popular vote only. The top five finalists in three business pitch categories will be selected based on public votes and written responses by internal business experts. Finalists will pitch their business to a panel of BC Business Leaders who will determine the winner for each award category.
